Get Ready For Your Dance Intro

We're looking forward to meeting you...

We hope you're excited for your first class at Springs Dance. Here are a couple of tips to help you get ready.

Locations

Springs Dance West is located near the southeast corner of Garden of the Gods Rd and Centennial Blvd just south of the Ace Hardware.

Springs Dance East is located near the Southwest corner of Research Pkwy and Powers Blvd on Powers Center Point.  Please help us be good neighbors at this location by not parking directly in front of other businesses and trying to park on the side of the building or in the lot to the south of the studio if you plan on leaving a vehicle in the lot while you are in class.

Be on Time

Allow a little extra time before your first class to find the studio, check in, and get fitted for ballet slippers (if included in your program.)

What to Wear

Wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing. Please tie long hair away from the face. A tank top or t-shirt and leggings is great. Men can wear shorts, sweat pants, or leggings. It's not necessary to purchase new dance wear before your first class. Springs Dance uses a uniform and this will be available should you choose to register for ongoing classes.

What to expect?

You'll Get to Know Us...

During your two-week intro program, you'll get to know Springs Dance by participating in classes, meeting instructors and administrative staff, and learning more about how our programs are designed and how you can expect to progress through dance training with the Academy.

We'll Get to Know You...

The intro program is an important time for us to get to know you. What are your goals? What previous experience do you have? What programs will be best suited to help you succeed? Are you a good candidate for ongoing training with Springs Dance?

A Real Confidence Booster

“The best part is how supportive and encouraging all the teachers have been. It’s really been a real confidence booster! I have grown in ways I never expected. It’s really helped me to come out of my shell! I love the staff: I’ve never met more encouraging people in my life. That has definitely kept me coming back.”

-Larissa Mulholland, adult student and mother of 2 students

How is Springs Dance Different?

Prioritize the Person

Prioritize the Person

We are fiercely committed to a studio culture that prioritizes individuals over medals and trophies. Programs are designed to help dancers of all sizes, ages, and natural abilities succeed.

Leadership Training

Leadership Training

Our one-of-a-kind leadership training curriculum uses dance to teach teamwork, responsibility, goal-setting, and more. Class Chats and a monthly studio leadership focus help our students to be more successful in their dance classes and in the lives outside the studio.

Age-Appropriate Programs

Age-Appropriate Programs

Progressive programs that group the same age and skill level together to make sure you get the best training. Your 12-year old won't be dancing with a toddler and an adult student won't share the barre with the 5-year old from down the street!
